Bhopal Portrait Tours UK Forests with EPOTY14 Exhibition
It was fantastic to be at the private view and awards ceremony of the Environmental Photographer exhibition last month. Not only was it a great privilege to have one of my Bhopal portraits selected for the exhibition, it was incredible to see it surrounded by some outstanding imagery that plays such an important role in uncovering some of the world’s environmental injustices. It really was an honor to have my work celebrated and included amongst the final selection. Great too to get a chance to meet with the organisers, Atkins, CIWEM and Parker Harris as well as some – sadly not all – other photographers, and to hear about their work. You can see the awarded images via this article on The Guardian.
The exhibition has now moved on from the prestigious RGS venue in London, and is now on tour in forest venues in the UK until November. I haven’t managed to check out the forest venues yet, so I’d love to hear how the exhibition is. Either drop me a line or use the hash tag #EPOTY14 and I’m sure I’ll pick it up.
